Reaching out for help takes strength and courage. Liana provides a safe and supportive environment for those working toward a life of positive growth and change. Life is filled with uncertainties, and uncertainties can bring fear. Liana works closely with her clients to walk through these fears and gain self-empowerment through situations that used to baffle us. By identifying your concerns, processing and taking the right direction, Liana believes a solution is within each of us.
Liana utilizes a variety of methods, such as solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. She is passionate about working through an empathetic lens in order to tailor each person’s treatment to their own unique needs. Liana specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families coping with a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, body image, life transitions, and addiction.
Addiction is a family disease and, therefore, Liana strongly believes in providing education and offering support as well as a compassionate environment to those impacted by the disease of addiction. Empowering families to better understand the progression and treatment of addiction, it’s impact on mental health disorders, and the gift of recovery is a role she can play in your family’s life. Liana holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. John’s University and is also a credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC).
